1st. create an email account or dedicate an email account that you check regularly so you sign up all your deals, account and offers.
2nd. Subscribe to the Sunday newspaper is cheaper in the long run and you make sure not to miss any coupons. Make sure to get a good sale on your subscription, I had seen sale price for Newsday as cheap as $4 month for the Sunday paper (regular price for the Sunday paper $2.5 each Sunday). If you go to the store to buy the newspaper make sure to check inside and that the coupons are in it. On holiday weekends such as 4th of July and Memorial Day you don't find coupons so don’t have to worry about buying them.
- Groupon - Daily deals in your town. Make sure to create an account as they send invitations only deals once in a while
- livingsocial -Also daily deals. Check the destination deals. Great prices
- Facebook.com- Add any company you buy products or services. Companies tend to create deals or coupons for the fans
- Target.com- If you shop there check their coupon section before going, together with a manufacture coupon you can get a good deal.
- freeflys - Free samples (nothing is better than free) and printable manufacture coupon
Other tips;
If you are going shopping always check the company website and or facebook page for coupons.
When dealing with a small company BARGAIN the worst they can say is no, but you never know.
Most supermarket double coupon. In Long Island Stop and Shop, Pathmark, Waldbaums and Shoprite double up to $.99.A coupon for $.75 is actually worth more than one for $1 when used in one of these supermarket ;).
-These tips are just a base to start; I would create other posts with a bigger explanation on each area and more ways to save.
